ITANDT Solutions is searching for experienced Application Support Engineers to join our development teams currently working at client sites. The ideal candidate would have some understanding of business processes in the telecommunications sector, familiar with ITL standards and have expertise in Software Development. The ideal candidate should also have a keen attention to detail, be comfortable collaborating with others, posses relevant experience in a similar role and have a track record for creative problem-solving.
In this role, you would be responsible for the daily maintenance routine for IT systems and services. You would be tasked with coordinating and managing information technology operations and ensuring the implementation of projects and their changes are effective and of optimal quality.
Responsibilities
- Planning and implementing technical test plans for application changes, new deployments, and upgrades.
- Follow good security coding practices when developing applications to ensure that they contain no common coding vulnerabilities.
- Mitigating service disruptions and maximizing service availability and quality through effective change management
- Assist Audits and Security requests with timely information and ensure any gaps identified are addressed
- Fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure system experience, availability and performance are at an optimal level to support the business.
- Work with other developers, designers, and architects to make sure that the configuration and custom components meet application requirements and performance goals.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in IT Development
- Experience working in a medium or large organization
- Posses a broad knowledge of business processes within the telecommunications sector
- Posses ITIL Standards Certification
- Experience in software development
Qualification
- First degree in computer science or a related discipline
Technical Skills
- Exposure working on FinTech platforms and applications
- PL/SQL and RDMBS
- Expertise in UNIX shell scripting
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Working Knowledge of
- Managing Cloud Services and Licenses
- Application development lifecycles
- User Requirements analysis standards and methods.
- DevOPS Practices and Tools
- Project Management Principles, Agile principles and technical management
- Broad knowledge of application development using an array of application development
- FINTech Platforms and applications.
- Software development, Open Api Architecture, Kubernetes and Microservices
- Expertise in UNIX Shell Scripting
- Application development experience
- PL/SQL and RDBMS Knowledge
